Oregon’s beautiful and majestic Mt. Hood comes to life with a variety of special stitch types used in this design. Rich created the forest in three different colors. Many of the tree branches overlap each other which add dimension and realism.

Amazing detail is achieved in this design. Every aspect of the original logo was transformed into beautiful embroidery.

This duck design was created blending several thread colors which added depth and realism. Rich used a special stitch technique called ‘vermicelli’ to enhance the body feather detail. Even the duck’s eye has a touch of white to give it a lifelike appearance.

One of Rich’s passions is British cars. This design was actually created for Rich’s father who restored an MG TF like this one. Much of the extra fine detail in the grille and wheels of this car were created using special 60 weight thread.

Hundreds of employees proudly wear this logo created by Rich. Notice the smoke escaping the chimney and the detail in the trees. The special typeface created by the graphic designer was carefully duplicated in this embroidery.

This design was digitized from a color photograph for a local dentist. Changing stitch direction reflects light and adds dimension to the lips and the roses leafs.

Two color lettering embroidered on caps offer special challenges. Rich has digitized many famous college designs including this one, his alma mater!

Two colors and satin over tatami stitches were used to form the mermaid’s hair. The ‘scales’ in her body and fins were created using a special tatami fill stitch technique.

This famous Lewis and Clark design was faithfully recreated and embroidered on a variety of garments. Notice the detail in the grass and Lewis and Clark figures.

A national MG car event sold hundreds of this design. It also won Rich a national embroidery design award. The special three color blend technique drew judges’ approval. ...
